Vajra's 2019 Langhe Nebbiolo is a jewel of a wine. Crushed red berry fruit, rose petal and spice lend complexity, but it is the wine's balance and sheer deliciousness that stands out most. This is beautifully done.

Opening to a medium ruby color, the G.D. Vajra 2019 Langhe Nebbiolo is beautifully balanced to deliver an informal drinking style, but it also hints at the enormous complexity that is inherent to this mighty grape of Piedmont. The bouquet reveals cassis and wild berry, crushed rose and lavender. However, the mouthfeel is precise and linear, thanks to those drying mineral notes. Production is 30,000 bottles.
