Score 90/100 · Drink 2005-2009, Robert Parker, Feb 2005
The exuberant 2002 Chardonnay Mays Canyon exhibits a hint of tropical fruit, although it is clear that Ted Lemon prefers the more mineral/citrus fruit side of Chardonnay. This nicely put together, pure, Burgundian-styled effort should drink well for 3-4 years. Tel. (707) 823-9586; Fax (707) 823-9589

Deep, complex aromas of almond, nutmeg, minerals and charred oak. Tight and taut today, but subtly complex and quite long on the aftertaste, finishing with a spicy character and an almost tannic impression.
