Score 91/100 · Drink 2020-2035, Neal Martin, Oct 2018
The 2016 Biston-Brillette has a lovely blackberry, cedar and tobacco-scented bouquet that opens nicely in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, very well judged acidity, harmonious, silky and smooth with very well integrated new oak. Bon vin ! Tasted at the Cru Bourgeois tasting in London.

50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Merlot. Dark chocolate, light smoky scent, toasty elements, black cherry and a touch of cedar. Forthright aromatic power on the nose, and hits all the classic bordeaux marks. (RH)
