Tasting notes
The 2014 Chardonnay (Russian River Valley) is a classic wine from Paul Hobbs. Creamy, ample and highly expressive, the Russian River Chardonnay makes a terrific introduction to these wines. Dried pear, chamomile, sage and dried flowers are nicely delineated throughout.

As for the 2014 Chardonnays, they all possess great acid and obvious intensity. I’ll keep my notes short, but they are all brilliant wines, including the 2014 Chardonnay Russian River, which has plenty of citrus oil, white flowers, quince and peach.
The 2014 Chardonnay (Russian River Valley) is bright, fresh and very nicely delineated, with plenty of orchard and yellow stone fruit nuances. This attractive, mid-weight Chardonnay will drink well pretty much upon release. The 2014 is a bit brighter than the 2013 tasted alongside it.
