Deep red-ruby. Rich aromas of cassis, black cherry, dark chocolate, mocha, loam, pipe tobacco and oak. Nicely sweet and fat, with a chocolatey flavor and a faint lurking herbaceousness. Rather soft finish features ripe, sweet tannins and a continuing note of chocolate.

The 2000 Cabernet Sauvignon’s deep ruby/purple color is followed by elegant, sweet aromas of black currants intermixed with tar, earth, and vanillin. It is a moderately weighty, pure, well-balanced, savory, medium-bodied, elegant Cabernet that warrants consumption over the next 5-9 years. Tel. (707) 963-7108
