2009 Beaune Greves

(picked at the beginning) Pale color. Very ripe fresh apricot plus a whiff of dried fruits on the nose. In a gentle, fruit-driven style, giving a sweeter impression than the Saint-Aubin Les Combes but also a bit lean in the middle. With modest mid-palate stuffing, this finishes with a tart edge. I wanted more ripeness.
