Score 92/100 · Drink 2016-2025, Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW, Wine Advocate, Oct 2016

Coming from Adrian Hoffman's Ebenezer vineyard in Barossa, the 2009 Dimchurch Shiraz has a deep garnet-black color and a full-on gorgeous nose of prunes, dried mulberries and creme de cassis with touches of Indian spices, dusty earth and potpourri. The full-bodied palate yields softened tannins that still possess a bit of chew, as well as concentrated, mature flavors, finishing with licorice and spices notes.

Score 92/100 · Drink 2014-2023, Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW, Wine Advocate, Feb 2014

Deep garnet-purple colored and redolent of pepper and ripe black fruit aromas with nuances of violets, cigar boxes, cloves and coffee, the 2009 Dimchurch Shiraz is positioned one pricing level down from the Hoffman Vineyard. In the mouth, it has a big, rich and concentrated, full-bodied frame that shows Ceylon tea and very spicy flavors before finishing long. This wine is gregarious and opulent at once. Drink it now to 2023+. Imported by Chris Ringland USA. www.chrisringland.com
