Score 89/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Sep 2005
Rather mute nose hints at citrus skin, vanilla and nuts. Juicy, lean and dry, with lemon zest and grapefruit flavors and some underlying minerality. Distinctly less sweet than the Charmes. Finishes with hints of earth and blond tobacco. Doesn't offer the inner-palate lift of Perrieres at its best. Lardiere notes that the fruit here was burned by the summer sun.
