Medium-deep red. Black raspberry, cherry cola, truffle, smoke and underbrush on the nose; a real blast of Burgundian earth. Concentrated, dense and sappy, with liqueur-like notes of raspberry and cherry, complemented by cola, herbal and roasted oak tones. Long finish features big but sweet tannins. Not at all an austere style of Clos Vougeot; in fact, this is delicious already, if without quite the urgency of the Richebourg.
