1995 Lorenzo Vineyard Chardonnay

The prodigious 1995 Chardonnay Lorenzo Vineyard (8 barrels or 200 cases) exhibits a light gold color, a huge, sexy, smoky, citrusy, mineral, and hazelnut-scented nose, crisp, tart acidity, and an unevolved, backward style. The wine is powerful and rich, with layers of intensity, outstanding purity, and a firm underpinning of acidity.
