Medium red. Sexy aromas of black cherry, minerals, coffee and chocolatey oak. Sweet, broad and open-knit; seems ready to be bottled. Finishes with very good length, the tannins arriving late.

Cask sample. Deep, bright crimson. Bitter cherry aromas. Marked acidity and tannins. Tougher than Les Beaux Monts. Very dry finish. Definitely chewy. More texture than flavour at present. (JR)
