The 2001 Chardonnay Chloe possesses aromas of baked apple skins, brioche, orange marmalade, and a hint of hazelnuts. Medium-bodied, ripe, and tasty, it should be consumed over the next 2-3 years. Tel. (925) 254-8922; Fax (925) 254-8942

Slightly deeper color than the RRV bottling. More new oak showing on the nose: pineapple, hazelnut, vanilla and butter. Then more structured and less forthcoming in the mouth, with nicely integrated acidity and a note of honey. Shows a hint of alcohol but finishes firm and long, with a steely nuance.
