The 2015 Pinot Noir Freestone Vineyards is bold, juicy and exuberant. Dark cherry, plum, violet, licorice and sweet spices notes abound in this rich, opulent wine. This is an especially racy, fruit-driven style for the coast. Sweet floral and spice notes add lift, with hints of lavender and rose petal that add the closing shades of complexity.
Having seen 19% whole cluster, the 2015 Pinot Noir Freestone Vineyards has a medium ruby-purple color and nose of red cherries and black raspberries with hints of wild thyme, forest floor, lavender and moss. Medium-bodied, the palate is elegant and finely grained, with intense earth and red berry flavors, as well as a long finish.
