Tasting notes
The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon from this estate showed beautifully, with a classic dense purple color as well as great aromatics of currants, blueberries, tobacco leaf, new leather, and spice. Medium to full-bodied and nicely concentrated, with ripe, velvety tannins, this young, unevolved Cabernet Sauvignon will benefit from 2-4 years of bottle age and drink nicely for 10-15 years. It’s well worth seeking out.

The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of two sites in Coombsville. Scorched earth, herbs, licorice, mint and black cherry all grace this savory, wonderfully layered Cabernet. All the elements come together, with bright acids and striking nuance laced throughout. This is such a classy, elegant Napa Valley Cabernet. I loved it.
Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon delivers vibrant scents of baked black cherries, black currant pastilles and blackberry pie with hints of truffles, tapenade and tar. Medium-bodied, the palate is elegant and refreshing, offering bright crunchy black fruits and an earthy finish.
