Tasting notes
The 2018 Corton Grand Cru Les Grèves has turned out beautifully, delivering aromas of dark chocolate, rich plummy fruit tones, black truffles and loamy soil. Full-bodied, deep and muscular, it's ample and multidimensional, with fine depth at the core, chalky tannins and a long, penetrating finish. This is a serious, broad-shouldered Corton, built for the cellar.

The 2018 Corton Grand Cru Grèves contains 25% whole-bunch fruit, which is barely noticeable on the sensual bouquet of opulent red currant, cranberry and raspberry aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with a saline entry and quite dense on the midpalate, but personally I prefer the structure and tension of the La Vignes Au Saint on the finish.
