Tasting notes
Deep, shimmering violet. A powerful, smoke- and spice-accented bouquet evokes fresh black and blue fruits, succulent flowers, incense and exotic spices. Juicy and broad on the palate, offering deeply concentrated boysenberry, black raspberry, fruitcake and violet pastille flavors that become nervier as the wine stretches out. Shows superb clarity and floral lift on a strikingly long finish framed by velvety, finely interwoven tannins.

The 2019 Harmonie, aged in neutral puncheons, is a blend of 71% Grenache, 15% Mourvèdre and 14% Syrah. Its aromas are notably delineated, wild berry fruits mingling with dried flowers, licorice, dusty earth and bitters, and kaleidoscopic berry fruits and juicy acidity combine for a lifted and spicy palate that offers immediate appeal.
More spice, peppery herbs, saddle leather, and underbrush notes emerge from the 2019 Harmonie, a blend of 71% Grenache, 15% Mourvèdre, and the rest Syrah. As with all this estate’s wines, it’s seamless, beautifully balanced, and elegant on the palate, with terrific tannins.
