2015 Plaisir de Merle Cabernet Sauvignon

A blend of 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Shiraz and 4% Petit Verdot, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon begins with a shy nose that needs to be coaxed out of the glass. With some spinning, subtle aromas of blackberry, black cherry and dusty plum with subtle black space tones come out. The Cabernet seems to show more on the palate, while the Syrah tones linger on the drying finish and soft herbal expression for the medium-bodied wine.
