The Chambolle-Musigny Les Amoureuses resembles a 1985 more than a 1986. It is quite seductive, fragrant, medium to full bodied, deep, and quite long on the palate. Drink it between now and 1998. Jean-Marie Roumier and Christophe, his son, have one of the most important and respected cellars in Burgundy's Cote d'Or. From their infant days in the cask, the 1986s have had the reputation of being some of the finest 1986s made. I concur.
