Score 90-92/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous
Red-ruby. Fine, floral aromas of violet, coffee, smoke and gunmetal. Bright, stylish and moderately dense, with a chewy texture and harmonious acidity. Doesn't have quite the flesh of the best examples of this grand cru. Slightly warm flavors. Slow-building finish shows sneaky length. Tannins are firm but fine.
