Tasting notes
The 2020 Molino Real shows extremely young and undeveloped but also superb, elegant and balanced, with incipient complexity and the textbook descriptors of the young vintages—bay leaf/mint/balsamic and a lactic/buttery/condensed milk character. This is quite sweet, playing dangerously with the 150 mark of grams of sugar. It is rich and round, powerful but balanced—a rich and hedonistic wine.

About the producer

In 1994, Telmo Rodríguez and Pablo Eguzkiza made their first wine together. This was the beginning of Compañía de Vinos Telmo Rodríguez, their joint project that looks to uncover the “real” Spain, working with old vineyards and indigenous varieties to recover the nation’s vinous heritage.
