Score 93-95/100 · Drink 2018-2035, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Dec 2015
The 2014 Vosne Romanée 1er Cru Aux Brûlées has a clean and precise bouquet with black cherries, bergamot and candied orange peel scents that are initially discrete, but gain in intensity with aeration. The palate is crisp and taut with supple tannin. There is a keen line of acidity, nicely integrated oak and there is a huge amount of freshness and joie-de-vivre on the finish, sorbet orange lingering on the aftertaste. This is a magnificent reading of the vineyard.
