The nose is bright and expressive, with cranberries, rhubarb, orange peel, incense, and a gently earthy base. Medium-bodied, it has a graceful texture, ripe tannins, and a mouthwatering, citrus-driven close that keeps it light on its feet. Drink this beautifully balanced, underappreciated vintage over the next decade. Drink 2026-2038.
The Caprili 2018 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva AdAlberto shows hints of licorice and balsam herb that give this wine an evolved personality. To the palate, this exhibits medium-body weight with tannins that are silky and resolved for the most part. The Riserva AdAlberto is pretty much ready to drink straight out of the gate. This is a limited release of 5,000 bottles.

This is like pure silk on the palate. Fresh acidity adds energy, and crisp wild berry fruits swirl throughout. Balsamic spice notes form toward the close as the 2018 finishes with crunchy tannins, all while maintaining a lovely, energetic feel. Beautifully done.
