The 2019 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Morgeot is one of the high points of the range this year. Exhibiting aromas of pear, orange oil, crisp green apple, clear honey and nutmeg, it's medium to full-bodied, layered and tightly wound, with terrific concentration, lively acids and a long, mineral finish. This derives from vines that are more than 80 years old.
