2022 Riesling Piesporter Treppchen Auslese

The 2022 Piesporter Treppchen Riesling Auslese (Gold Capsule) is very clear and stony on the intense yet clear and refined nose. Dense and concentrated yet lush and savory on the palate, this is an elegant and still pretty sweet Auslese with ripe pear aromas on the mid-palate and the finish and raspberry aromas on the aftertaste. The acidity is as fresh and as stimulating as a grapefruit. Very clear and precise yet still young, this is a wine to be cellared for at least another 5-7 years. 7% stated alcohol. Natural cork.
