A blend of two-thirds Pinot Noir and one-third Gamay, representing the field blend of a new fermage between Vosne-Romanée and Nuits Saint-Georges, the maiden 2016 Coteaux Bourguignons has a fine, quite lush, blackberry and raspberry scented bouquet. The palate is sweet and quite tensile on the entry, the used oak nicely integrated with a fresh and vibrant finish. This marked a very commendable debut. Hachi nanan.
