Score 86/100 · Drink 1993-2000, Robert Parker, Dec 1994
I under-estimated this wine from cask tastings. Exhibiting far more fruit, ripeness, depth, and length than I had previously thought, Clos Fourtet's 1992 offers a dark ruby color, a pleasing jammy nose of black fruits and toast, medium body, sweet, expansive fruit, and a velvety texture. A fine effort, it should be consumed over the next 6-7 years.
