The 2013 Bourgogne has a very pure bouquet, light but delineated, with flinty, red cherry scents. The palate is well balanced with piquant red cherry fruit, nicely structured with a lingering spicy notes on the finish. This is very elegant for a Bourgogne Rouge - one of the best of the vintage.

Between the RN74 and Volnay vineyards – an especially good strip for Bourgogne . Black pepper and quite ripe fruit on the nose. Quite tight and sinewy. Lean at the moment. (JR)
