Score 16/20 · Drink 2022-2026, Julia Harding MW, jancisrobinson.com, Sep 2022
100% destemmed into small stainless-steel tanks, fermented by indigenous yeasts with gentle twice-daily punchdowns. Matured for 11 months in 15% new French oak barrels. Fruit comes from cool sites within the Chehalem Mountains. Mid crimson. Sweet and lightly spiced red fruit. Prettily scented. A little bit rubbery on the palate, chewy texture, firm tannins. Earthy, dry, Pinot Noir with decent length. (JH)
