Tasting notes
The floral side of Gräfenberg emerges strikingly here, with gentian and hyacinth holding their own amid the piercingly-penetrating scents of candied lemon and lime rinds. Brightly-juicy citrus and tangy pineapple core convey animation on a viscous palate that also features quince preserves, salted caramel, and liquid floral perfume. Like the corresponding Turmberg, this finishes with superb persistence; a wonderful combination of richness with animation; as well as mouthwateringly saline savor. (.375 ml)

Dressed in a clear lemon-yellow robe with a lime-green shimmer, Weil's 2017 Kiedrich Gräfenberg Beerenauslese opens with a highly elegant and refined bouquet with a crystalline clear and delicate, crunchy-slate perfume. Full and lush, really sweet, with stimulating salty-mineral grip, great finesse and elegance, this is a densely concentrated, close-meshed and very long Gräfenberg BA white that is light-weighted. 600 bottles produced. Tasted in August 2018.
