Aged in small oak barrels. Winemaker Michael Brajkovich MW. Screwcap . Enticing nose of red fruits and vanilla, very summery and fragrantly fresh. Fine and dry with just the merest hint of oak tannin grip to add to the length and enhance the freshness. Delicate but long. Avoids the oversweetness or overoaking of many NZ Pinots. Finesse and length and a real baby. (JH)

Cherry, raspberry, plum and cinnamon on the nose. Juicy and fresh in the mouth, with plum and spicy oak flavors complicated by an earthy nuance. Nicely structured if rather oaky wine with a firm, lingering finish. Like a village wine from Aloxe-Corton.
