2021 Riesling Trocken Vom Grauen Schiefer

Filtered a week before my tasting and bottled the day before, the 2021 Riesling Vom Grauen Schiefer is pure and fresh on the crystalline and slate-driven nose that shows clear fruit with pure slate and lemon juice aromas. The wine is light but mouth-filling, elegant and really dry (three grams of residual sugar), with racy acidity intermingled with greenish fruit aromas only on the finish and aftertaste. 11% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in July 2022.
