Tasting notes
Planted with massal selections, the 2019 Marsannay Champs Perdrix Blanc exhibits aromas of peach, pear, beeswax and nutmeg. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and textural but incisive and precise, it's a nicely balanced white, exemplifying the vintage at its best.

The 2019 Marsannay Les Champs Perdrix Blanc comes from young vines planted in 2016 at 12,000 vines per hectare, and this vintage contains 20% new oak. It showed just a little reduction on the nose. The palate is lively on the entry, offering lime cordial, peach and light apricot notes. There is a very appealing rondeur to this Marsannay, and a caressing, quite persistent finish. Maybe not a long-term proposition but very, very delicious.
