Tasting notes
Still very youthful and a tad shy, but there’s no mistaking this is a sophisticated wine for the village with subtle sour cherry and red berry aromas plus hints of summer flowers and blood oranges. At once compact, concentrated and elegant on the medium-bodied palate. Excellent drive in the long, sleek and stony finish. From biodynamically grown grapes. Drinkable now, but best from 2025.

A hugely impressive Nuits-St-Georges blanc. Fine combination of fleshiness, stone-fruit character and freshening acidity. Has a pithy, almost tanninc and 'natural-wine' feel to it. Approachable in the next 12 months but will age well for several years. (AWH)
Monopole. Certified biodynamic. Cask sample. Lightish cherry red. Much sweeter smelling than the Clos du Chapeau. Wild strawberries. On the palate, tight, fine-grained and so much minerally freshness and energy. Long, brisk, pure. (JH)
