Tasting notes
Aromas of cherries, plums, rose petals, sweet spices and forest floor preface the 2019 Nuits-Saint-Georges Au Bas de Combe, a medium to full-bodied, rich and lively wine that's deep and concentrated, with a layered core of fruit and especially refined, velvety structuring tannins.

The 2019 Nuits Saint-Georges Au Bas de Combe comes from their 0.20-hectare parcel. Matured in around 20% new oak, it has a ripe Dorset plum and blueberry scented nose, quite high-toned. The palate is medium-bodied with saturated tannins, a silky-smooth feel and a fine bead of acidity. It remains tight and linear on the finish, suggesting that it will benefit from 3–4 years in bottle.
