Score 89-91/100 · Drink 2020-2030, Neal Martin, Jan 2019
The 2017 Gevrey-Chambertin Village includes one-third whole bunch fruit and sees around 15% new oak. It has a detailed, focused bouquet of blackberry, raspberry and light cedar aromas; a light floral scent emerges with aeration. The palate is well balanced with a light brine-like bouquet on the entry, a fine line of acidity and a surfeit of freshness toward the finish. A Gevrey with a pleasant bite to it. Excellent.
