Concentrated mid ruby. Lifted cherry and damson on the nose and supple, mouth-filling ripe cherry fruit on the palate. Long, supple and solid with persistent grainy tannins on the finish. (WS)
The 2020 Brunello di Montalcino Manachiara is dusty and floral, with aromas of dried roses, ground cloves and black cherries. Silky and round, it quickly gains tension as tart wild berry fruits saturate and fine-grained tannins mount toward the close. This leaves the palate drenched in primary concentration, finishing structured and long with a chewy sensation.
