Score 87/100 · Drink 1994-2002, Robert Parker, Feb 1994
The excellent 1991 offers an intensely fragrant bouquet of cedar, tobacco, smoke, and black fruits. Medium-bodied, with fine depth, sweet, jammy fruit, wonderful elegance, and a soft, satiny-textured finish, this admirably long wine is already delicious; it should last for 7-8 years. Impressive!
