The 2019 Meursault Charmes 1er Cru has a well-defined bouquet with subtle touches of walnut, hazelnut and light orange zest aromas; good energy here. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, notes of orange peel and tangerine and a modest, understated finish. I would like more tension, but it does convey good length.
