The 2021 Riesling Schlossberg Grand Cru charms with stone and peach, aromatic and surprisingly open. Clearly, the free-draining nature of the Schlossberg granite was a blessing in 2021. This is so strait-laced, so complete, so serene, so stony, so linear, absolutely pristine, stellar in fact. The fact that herbal savor plays around the nose and that peach makes a distant appearance is all by the by.
