Tasting notes
The 2016 Grand Enclos du Château de Cérons presents notable density and power in its dark, cherry, plum, chocolate, licorice and leather notes. This plush Graves has come together nicely during élevage.

I note from the back label that this sample was taken more than a month ago on 29 March so be warned. In fact it's big and rich and lively with a little, but by no means unpleasant, edge of bitterness. Already charming. Lightly floral note. Some golden syrup flavour, and texture. Admirably long for such an inexpensive wine. GV (JR)
The 2016 Grand Enclos du Château de Cérons offers good depth and pliancy in a soft, open-knit style that is well suited to near and medium term drinking. Sweet cherry, mint and flowers add complexity to this pretty, accessible red.
