The 2022 Chablis Côte de Léchet 1er Cru comes across as a little dilute on the nose compared to others. The palate is balanced with tropical notes of apricot and peach. The acidity is nicely judged, though, and while it does miss some complexity, a pleasant spiciness lingers on the aftertaste. Tasted blind at the BIVB tasting in Chablis.

Less open than Les Lys. A little more creamy/spicy. Richer and more rounded, too, a little less tense but with a long minerally, salty finish. GV (JH)
