Tasting notes
Opening in the glass with notes of lime zest, white flowers and crisp green apple, the 2020 Meursault Vireuils is medium-bodied, bright and chiseled, with tangy acids, chalky structure and a long, saline finish. As usual, this is the leanest, most purely mineral lieu-dit bottling in the range.

The 2020 Meursault Les Vireuils is airy, lifted and gracious, as wines from this lieu-dit tend to be. There is a feeling of understated elegance here that is just compelling. White flowers, mint, white pepper, lime and crushed rocks build into the clean, vibrant finish. (Tasted by Antonio Galloni)
