Tasting notes
Made with 100% Chardonnay, the Jermann 2023 Where Dreams have no end (in screw cap) shows a slightly reductive approach, hinting at the full manner in which the wine will open in the glass. That aromatic tightness comes through as crushed stone, crisp apple, Williams pear and white melon, while the palate reveals polished length with a touch of softness leading to a silky finish, alongside the characteristic creaminess often found in northeast Italian white wines. Fermentation begins in stainless steel until about 6% alcohol is reached before the wine is transferred to 300-liter barrique, where it ages on the lees with bâtonnage for 11 months. Fruit is sourced from multiple vineyard sites averaging 30 years of age on sandstone and marl soils rich in mineral elements.
