2023 Montagny Choix du Roi Blanc

From blocks within Lorenzon's holdings with particularly poor soils, the 2023 Montagny 1er Cru Le Choix du Roi offers up notes of lime leaf, lemon oil, white flowers and wet stones, followed by a medium- to full-bodied, suave and polished palate that's long, penetrating and saline. It's both the most mineral and the most elegant of these Montagny bottlings, setting the bar high for the appellation.
