The 2023 Pommard Clos Blanc 1er Cru is matured in 50% new oak. This is more floral than the Les Chaponnièrs, with fine delineation and pressed violet notes infusing the dark berry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, grainy black fruit and a slightly high-toned finish. Again, this is quite precocious in style and will be tempting in its youth.
