Tasting notes
Tank sample. Very opulent, charming and rich on the nose. Fresh citrus acidity on the finish and very complete. Pretty smart but not ethereal. (JR)

Offering up aromas of pear, orange zest and freshly baked bread, the 2023 Meursault 1er Cru Santenots is medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, with a succulent, charming profile. More immediate than its 2022 predecessor, this will drink well young.
The 2023 Meursault Santenots 1er Cru is quite effervescent on the nose with finely delineated Satsuma, orange zest and just a hint of nectarine. The palate is well balanced with, again, a slightly honeyed texture. It is less acidic than the 2022 and almost creamy toward the finish. Enjoy this very seductive Meursault over the next five or six years.
