Tasting notes
The 2023 Morey-Saint-Denis Cuvée des Grives has an open, quite intense bouquet with brambly black fruit, undergrowth, pain grillé and light allspice scents. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly chewy tannins. Quite bold in style, grippy with weight on the finish though it just needs a bit more finesse.

The 2023 Morey-Saint-Denis Cuvée des Grives has quite an extravagant, floral bouquet with crushed strawberry, star anise and blood orange scents. It seems to calm down nicely in the glass after that initial burst. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-boned tannins, quite harmonious with a dash of black pepper and clove on the finish. Afford this Morey a couple of years in bottle.
