Score 89-91/100 · Drink 2026-2038, Neal Martin, Nov 2024
The 2023 Gevrey-Chambertin Clos Prieur 1er Cru has a nicely detailed bouquet that blends red and black fruit, tobacco and light forest floor scents. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly dry tannins on the entry. This is nicely balanced though, open-knit with slight diffusion toward the finish, and fit for mid-term drinking.
