Now twice the holding with the addition of old vines. Intense purple black. The nose is not demonstrative, while the palate offers sombre black fruit with a few tannins. This is typical Peuillets terroir.

The 2023 Savigny-lès-Beaune Les Peuillets 1er Cru, which was destemmed, has a bright nose with red cherry, crushed strawberry and rose petal notes on the nose. It's light, maybe a little ephemeral. The palate is rounded on the entry with raspberry and cranberry mixed with white pepper and bay leaf. It has gentle grip, but it doesn't quite kick on toward the finish.
