Tasting notes
Double magnum served at Caractère by Véronique Drouhin. Sweet, rich, ripe and already very appealing. Impressively persistent. (JR)

A little sweet oak still perceptible. Rich and sweet on the palate, though with good density and the usual delicate touch. Light but not intrusive bitterness on the end. This should please, if you can afford it. Long. (JR)
The 2023 Beaune 1er Cru Clos des Mouches (Domaine) is showing nicely, bursting with aromas of sweet berries, spices, orange zest and new oak. Medium to full-bodied, succulent and lively, with chalky grip on the finish, it will offer a broad drinking window.
About the producer
